The ingredients needed to prepare Samp:

  1. Take 1 kg of samp mixed with brown beans.
  2. Get 2 of potatoes, peeled.
  3. You need 1 of onion, chopped.
  4. Prepare 1 of carrot, peeled.
  5. Prepare 1 of green pepper, chopped.
  6. Use 1 tsp of rajah curry powder.
  7. Provide 4 tbsp of oil.
  8. Get 2 cubes of beef stock.
  9. Provide of Salt if needed.
  10. Take 3 litres of water.

Instructions to make Samp:

  1. Rinse and soak samp overnight.
  2. Drain water then pour in the pot with water and pinch salt and boil until soft.
  3. Add peeled potatoes and carrot boil until soft.
  4. In a pan fry chopped onion with rajah then pour into the samp pot.
  5. Add beef stock and green pepper simmer for 5 mins.
  6. Stir and mash the samp combine well and serve warm.
